Affiliate terms
Version 2026-09-08. These terms are pinned to your application when you accept them.
50% of your referral's first payment, then 20% of every later monthly payment for as long as they remain a customer. Commissions are computed on the base plan price only — never on Extra Time, taxes, or fees. The 50% first-payment rate applies once per person you introduce: a resubscription for the same loved one earns the standard 20%. One-time volume bonuses at 10, 25 and 50 retained referrals ($250 / $500 / $1,500); a referral counts as retained once their plan has paid three renewals past their holds and none were refunded or disputed.
Referred families get their first 14 days free — their card is first charged about 14 days after signup, so your first commission is earned then. Every commission is held at least 15 days (refunds and chargebacks reverse it), then joins the next weekly payout batch, built every Monday, reviewed and paid via Stripe with a $10 minimum (smaller balances carry forward). Payouts require completing Stripe's payout setup from your dashboard. You'll need your legal name, date of birth, home address, the last four digits of your Social Security number, and a US bank account. Stripe collects it on their own pages — we never see or store it. Stripe also sends you a 1099-NEC if your earnings for the year reach the IRS reporting threshold. Until that is done your balance is held, never forfeited. If a payment you were commissioned on is later refunded or disputed, the commission reverses; if it was already paid out, it nets against your next payout.
First touch wins: a person is yours if they clicked your link or dialed your line first, and stays yours — including a second plan they buy within your attribution window. Attribution lasts 90 days from the click or call; for someone who hasn't yet purchased, a dialed line takes precedence over an old cookie. You can never earn from your own purchases, and a person already attributed to another partner can't be claimed.
One honest limitation: a click is remembered in the browser it happened in. If someone clicks your link on one device but signs up from another without it, that click can't be seen — which is exactly what the dedicated phone line is for: a dialed call attributes reliably no matter what device or browser the family ends up using.
Disclose your partnership next to every recommendation ("I'm a Talk Society partner" — FTC material-connection rules). Describe Grace honestly: she's an AI companion, and we never claim she treats, prevents, or improves any medical condition — no health claims of any kind, including about loneliness, dementia, depression or cognition.
No bidding on "Talk Society" or "Grace" in search ads. No spam. No impersonating the brand or Grace. No self-referrals or incentivizing sign-ups you fund yourself. If you work in a clinical or care-coordination role (physician, social worker, discharge planner, care agency, or a federally reimbursed organization), tell us before applying — those partnerships need separate review and are not accepted by default.
Some partners are hired by us on a monthly base that works as a floor under their commission — their own first-month commission counts toward it rather than being paid on top of it. Their portal shows the families they personally signed up: the first word of the name that family gave us, the date, the plan, whether it's still running, and what they earned. If that's you, this part applies to you as well.
Treat it as confidential. You may use what you see for one purpose only — doing your job with the families you introduced. Don't copy it, export it, keep your own list, share it with anyone (including another partner or an employer), or use it to sell anything else. Don't try to find out more about a family than we show you, and don't discuss one family with another. If you stop working with us, stop using it, and delete anything you kept.
Never sign yourself up. You can't earn commission or count toward a quota on a plan you, your household, or anyone acting for you pays for. If a family you're related to genuinely wants Grace, tell us first and we'll set it up outside your account.
Say you work with us. Every time, out loud and in writing. Never say Grace is a person, never make a health or medical claim, never promise an outcome, and never discuss money with the older adult — pricing and billing are the family buyer's business.
Approval is manual and we may decline or end a partnership at our discretion. If a partnership ends in good standing, commissions already earned and not reversed are still paid out; commissions tied to fraud or a terms violation are forfeited. Your link name can be reclaimed with notice if we ever need the path. Assigned phone numbers remain ours and are reclaimed if unused. If you're a partner sharing a link or a number, we never share who your referrals are — you see counts and earnings, not names; the sales-team section above is the only exception, and it is limited to a first name. There is no reward of any kind for recruiting other affiliates.
